Hello Rapunzel-san. Have you settled on a hero name yet? I was going to take the bounty in Fayren advertised in the Tribune and I was wondering if you would like to join me.
Well...Nothing outstanding, but I had things like healer Girl, but that sounded dumb. But maybe something with Sun in it since back in my world the symbol of Corona my home country was a sun.
I should be ready in around five minutes. Just filing a couple things for tomorrow and then I am done.
It's good if it's got a deeper significance to you. What about Sunlight Song? I remember you mentioning to Midoriya that you have to sing to use your powers.
A certain song, yes. [Though how that was actually discovered she had not a single clue, Gothel was the one to tell her about that one when she was younger.]

So far, we know that there are two shadow mages, and that they're stealing herbs. Based on the map and the places they've struck, it appears that they're going after people in places where there's plenty of shade.
[While it's true that a wide open field wouldn't be an optimal place to rob someone anyway, he suspects there's a little more to it.]
If we carry some cooking herbs from the grocery store and walk around the areas where they've struck before, that should lure them out. They'd have to get close enough to realize that we're not carrying what they're looking for in the first place.
Oh, I think I know of the place shop to buy them. Though fresh I find is always better. Do you think that would work, or just go to the store because it's quicker?

Unless you know of a place where we could pick them for free, buying them at the store would be best.

I have a few plans in mind in case they do target us.
[He pulls out a pair of flashlights, shining one of them at the wall so Rapunzel can see how bright the lights go.]
These are fully charged, bright, and have enough weight to them that they can be used as blunt weapons as well. I suspect their shadow magic is dependent to an extent on having shadows present. We can disrupt where the shadows fall with the flashlights.
[He's also crafted a few elementary flashbangs.]
We can also throw them off with these. Do not look directly at wherever you throw these. They're designed to temporarily blind and daze someone.
[Rapunzel was soon watching the flashlight as well, so they could manipulate where their shadows go. That was about as much as she figured out and that seemed pretty simple enough. The flashbangs she figured could go one of two ways. Either well or not at all if she messed up somehow.]
I... wouldn't trust myself with those. Mostly because I could always have a clumsy moment and set them off accidentally.
Then you can take a flashlight, and leave the flashbangs to me.
[He's not going to try and push her when this isn't a training environment. The fact that she's taking this bounty with him is a big step and he wants it to be a positive experience for her.]
If I can, I'm going to copy a shadow mage's power and use their own abilities against them. If I'm unsuccessful, we have the flashlights and flashbangs to disrupt them.
[He gets up and holds the door on their way out. Might as well be polite and courteous. He's supposed to try and set a good example as a hero in training, after all.]
We can buy the herbs first. I know we can probably find them in the forest, but I'd prefer to be efficient. We can always buy cooking herbs that could be used for food later.
